The fest celebrates the wildflowers that pop up around the museum and in the desert if there is good rain during winter. The El Paso Museum of Archaeology, 4301 Trans Mountain Road, is having the Poppies Fest 2023 on Saturdays through April 1. Information: Poppies Fest will be monthlong Dress up as your favorite character to enter the costume contest. $15 ticket includes 2 exclusive coloring pages, games with chances to win prizes, a photo area, and a drink. The two artists created an Alice in Wonderland Coloring Book. Join artists Vanessa Clark and Ashton Kaleigh for an incredible evening of fun and games from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission will be $30 for a single day, and $60 for a weekend pass and free for those 12 and under. Special guests will include tattoo collector Yallzee. There will be live tattooing, piercing, art, burlesque performers and a variety of vendors. The expo will feature more than 150 tattoo artists from all over the country.
